Dr. Aju has a total teaching experience of 22 years which includes 16 years of regular service. Has been a research guide since 2008. Thrust areas of research interest include Folkloristics, Cultural Studies, and Film Studies. Published 17 books authored, co-authored and edited – with major publishers of Kerala. More than 150 articles have appeared in print in various academic and popular journals.
He has been a member of the Board of Studies of the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, Thunchathu Ezhuthachan Malayalam University, Tirur, Sree Narayana Guru Open University, Kollam, School of Letters, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, SB College (autonomous), Changanassery, St.Joseph’s College (autonomous), Irinjalakuda, and Mar Athanasius College (autonomous), Kothamangalam. Has designed the curriculum and syllabi at the P.G. and U.G. level for the University of Kerala and Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
